I remember the lovely long walks
With nature so beautiful surrounding me.
I used to run after butterflies, and puck snails
And put the snails in a row their difference to see.
On the new green grass
Grew in hundreds the lovely sunflowers
Who bowed their lovely golden heads, seeking the sun
In the same rhythm with the wind for many hours.
At the far back the top of a mountain
Standing supreme , fixed and rooted
Never bowing, never losing its dignity
Nature making it look for higher places, never polluted.
And the rainbow!!!
My heart exults at this rainbow
Just being born in all its splendor
Crossing the sky, colourful,,, such a magnificent show.
I love to walk in the solitude
Along the paths dividing the rice fields
I walk slowly, conscious of the fact that
I am walking on wonderful, beautiful ground
Realising just what our nature yields.
Everyday we face new miracles
Miracles... which we do not recognize as such
A blue sky, white clouds, green leaves
Everything is a miracle, which we enjoy so much
Great is the Creator, who beautifies everything with a mere touch..
